So I promise to get out of my blogging drought, I dont know what the heck happened to February, how is it gone already, I swear it was just the 1st and somehow Valentine's Day escaped me and now it is almost March, CRAZY! So because I have been in a drought and because I feel so badly for it, I am making it up by having a giveaway. But like all things that are free, there is a catch!

It is amazing how many great people I have met through blogging and sharing similar likes in the baking world. It is truly lovely! And because it is so truly lovely, I want to give-away something truly lovely to celebrate one year!
I had a birthday just a few days ago and I received these ADORABLE oven mitts. They are by Jessie Steele and you simply must check out her site because she has by far the cutest things to make you fashionable in the kitchen. I am usually a folded-up-towel kind of gal when it comes to taking stuff out of the oven, but my knuckles are tired of being burned and these adorable mitts have saved my hands, I love them! Sweet Treats!

So I did quite a bit of baking/decorating this weekend, I was having a drought, but now I am replenished, at least until this weekend! So here are a couple of pics of the other cookies I did in addition to the monkeys.
